Take your time figuring it out

What do you do – when you don’t know what to do?

What is your strategy for moving forward?

How do you manage stress?

Do you practice positive self-talk?

Do you seek out help?

Do you crawl up into a fetal position and close the blinds?

I’ve been working with some clients, and myself, on what to do – when you do not know what to do next.

As adults, we think we reach a certain age and we should have all the answers. We should have everything figured out lickety split – and then be done with it. We think we have to be certain about every decision and if the decision turns out to be a bust – then we are a failure.

Now is any of that really true – about being an adult and making every decision perfectly?

If you responded, “Yes!”,  hold on and stop that insanity train!

As I am going through Danielle LaPorte’s latest book, The Fire Starter Sessions, I love the credo she outlines.

Credo #1 states:

I’ll figure it out” is the mantra of choice.

Accordingly, this buzz kill must be stricken from the lexicon: “I just don’t know what to do.

And there it is. We do not need or have to have all the answers right away. We will figure it out.

I took some time to create a video that discusses this very thing and I also provided a “low tech” tool to get my clients and myself thinking about easy steps to figure it out.

Let me know if this is helpful to you.

Send me an email, too, if that works for you.

I enjoy connecting with you and offering support that will keep you on your bold path.
