Happy Monday, Bold-Thinkers!
How did your day go?
I had a slow start to my Monday.
I worked with a fabulous client and took care of some paperwork...and that's about it.
(Oh, and grocery shopping + laundry.)
Getting back into the groove after a vacation is always a large energetic output for me.
In knowing this, I have to be gentle with myself.
Here are 3 things to consider as you go easy on yourself - while getting a productive start to the week.
1. declutter your thinking
2. adjust the expectations you’ve put on yourself
3. curate your “to do” list
Here’s how you can get started.
Step 1
Grab a sheet a paper (or electronic document) and put it into landscape/horizontal layout.
Step 2
Create 3 columns
Step 3
Label each column with these headings
(a) Urgent/Priority – must be done today
(b) This week/month
(c) Outsource/Delegate
Step 4
Put your tasks into the appropriate columns
Step 5
Repeat this process tomorrow.
How do you plan to boost your productivity for this week?
What systems or process do you use to keep overwhelm low – as you start the week?
How do you regroup if overwhelm takes over?
